St. Augustin Lighthouse

ST AUGUSTINE LIGHTHOUSE, FLORIDA


There are many claims of paranormal activity at the lighthouse. A former keeper at the lighthouse named Peter Rasmussen is thought to be making contact with visitors to the lighthouse. Many of those visitors claim to smell his cigars. Claims of contact with him is one of the most reported experiences.

ROHS Opera House

ROHS OPERA HOUSE, KENTUCKY


The current Rohs Opera House (pronounced ROSS) opened in 1941 with a showing of Down Argentine Way. Ticket price was $.05 for adults. It was originally built in 1871 as Aeolian Hall, a live production theatre located on the second floor. A silent movie projector was eventually added to bring "movies" to Cynthiana. In 1941, the "new" Rohs Opera House was added to the building by H. A. Rohs and his son Karle. These men are the grandfather and great grandfather of the actor Chris O'Donnel. The Rohs Opera House has also been listed on several "most haunted lists" and is a popular destination for ghost hunters and paranormal enthusiasts from all around.

Prospect Place Mansion

PROSPECT PLACE MANSION, OHIO


A key location in the freeing of slaves. Many slaves came to this mansion to escape bounty hunters. Many arrived injured due to wounds from firearms and animals that they came in contact with during their escape to the mansion. These spirits are just some of the spirits that are allegedly haunting Prospect Place Mansion.

Eastern State Penitentiary

Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania


It is thought that the Eastern State Penitentiary is one of the most haunted locations in the world. One of the most famous prisoners was Al Capone. Executions were not carried out at ESP, but many murders took place.

The Emery Theatre

The Emery Theatre, Ohio


Known for it’s rich history, the Emery Theatre is unique location. It opened in 1912 and is one of four “acoustically perfect” concert halls with a design that was inspired by the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, IL. Some of the more well known people and groups that performed or spoke here were: The Cincinnati Symphonic Orchestra, George Gershwin, The Boone Country Jamboree, Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., the American Theater Organ Society, The National, Dirty Projectors, Carrie Rodriguez, Ralph Stanley and others. The tales of the past can be heard in the in the whispers of the halls. Apparitions, shadows and the sensation of being touched have been reported. Paranormal groups have collected EVPs, photos and videos, and have had many personal experiences. Tales of an old security guard that roams the walkways waiting for someone to act out has been reported by many visitors.

Mansfield Fire Museum

Mansfield Fire Museum, Ohio


The Mansfield Fire Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving & interpreting the artifacts, history & traditions of firefighting. See a turn of the century fire station, hear the antique alarm bell, see the original parade of hats, browse the many pictures taken of heroic firefighters & get up close to the firefighting equipment. Unexplained happenings like movement of a side mirror on a fire truck has been seen to move by an employee, unexplained sounds when there is only one person in the building, floating orbs, lights flickering and shadow people have been reported. Perhaps it’s the artifacts in this museum that make the spirits come alive or a coffin in the Chapel that was once used at the Ohio State Reformatory.
